What happens when the logger runs out of battery?
When the battery is completely depleted, the logger will revert to a sleep state (state 0). The counter will reset to 0xFFFFFF. If the logger is not counting, it will always return the value 0xFFFFFF. The RTC counter is kept in volatile memory, which is why the counter value disappears when the battery dies.
