What are the Advantages of Smart Passive Sensing™?

Without a battery or a bulky protective covering, our Smart Passive Sensors™ are the smallest sensors available. They can fit into the tightest of spaces. Our sensors can be placed between sheets of plywood, tucked into the paneling of a car, or hidden in a hospital bed where a patient won’t be disturbed by it. Being battery-free greatly reduces the maintenance costs over the lifetime of the sensor.

Installing an Axzon sensor is as simple as tearing off the peel-n-stick backing and placing the sensor where you want it to go. This way you avoid the expense and the difficulties of routing wires. Smart Passive Sensors™ can also be used in situations where a wired system would be impractical or even hazardous, such as inside a switchgear cabinet where wires would add to the risk of electrical arcing.
