Which readers work with Axzon sensors

Modified on Wed, 19 Jun at 12:56 PM

Axzon devices are fully compatible with the controlling standards known as Gen2.  The reader ICs are also thought to be fully compliant to the Gen2 standard.  However, readers are designed for specific uses and may not expose all of the Gen2 commands in their software.  This means that some reads will not engage with all sensor functions.

All, or nearly all, readers can access sensor code values and RSSI signal strength values. Many readers can execute a temperature sensing operation.  A narrower set of readers has access to the full range of Gen2 functionality and can execute a high-precision temperature measurement.

Axzon sensors are usually available in FCC and EU/ETSI frequency ranges and can be read by RAIN/UHF compliant readers. Axzon sensors can be purchased separately or as part of a kit that includes a RAIN/UHF compliant reader.
