When multiple sensor tags are placed too close together, the RF signals may interfere with each other, sometimes leading to a shortened read range or difficulty reading the sensor. When sensors are adequately isolated from each other, the number of sensors being read has no negative impact on the quality of the read. As a rule of thumb, we recommend keeping sensors at least 10cm apart. The minimum spacing necessary varies depending on the environment in which the sensors are installed and the individual needs of your application. Orienting the sensor tags perpendicularly to each other helps to reduce the spacing necessary between them.
