What information does the Temperature Sensor provide?

The Temperature Sensor provides a value (Temperature Code) directly proportional to the temperature of the chip. The Temperature Code is a 12-bit value ranging from 0 to 4095. Larger numbers indicate higher temperatures; however, the value is not calibrated. For specific temperatures, different chips will produce different Temperature Codes. Any Temperature Code value under 1200 or over 3400 must be discarded, as this means the chip either did not receive the SELECT command that activates the measurement, or the tag received a large RF power disturbance during the temperature measurement.
